Synopsis – Timing is Everything – Managing Floral Peaks and Troughs in Perennial Planting
One of the greatest challenges of perennial plantings of a naturalistic style is managing or manipulating their flowering times, and planting designers around the world have developed widely different responses. In this workshop, Michael McCoy will expand on these differing approaches, and which might best suit planting design in Australia.
Synopsis – Creating Naturalistic Perennial Plantings – Key Design Elements
The whole point of naturalistic perennial plantings is to appear spontaneous, but there are strong guiding principles behind their design, transcending any particular plant palette or climate. Join Michael McCoy to explore these principles and their application in an Australian context.
