Synopsis
The best way to see your designs come to life is to design to a construction budget. All clients have a construction budget, so it is vital to understand it and know your design fits within this budget.
This hands-on workshop will equip you with the tools and skills you need to budget your own designs, before they go to market, which means no nasty surprises for your client. Designing to a budget builds trust with the client (and landscape contractors), as well as your reputation as a designer who has extensive knowledge of the industry. Construction budgets don’t stifle or inhibit design, they are a positive and very real parameter that talented designers learn to master. The end game is a beautiful new garden that exceeds expectations, not a concept that never gets off the ground.
