UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE – FACULTY OF SCIENCE
The Burnley Campus, School of Ecosystem and Forest Sciences, has an international profile in urban horticulture teaching and through its expanding profile in green infrastructure and urban waterways research. Burnley provides a range of education, research and training opportunities from short courses and professional development through to postgraduate coursework and research degrees. Situated in nine-hectares of heritage listed gardens and only seven kilometres from the city centre, the campus is also home to the Burnley Green Roofs, the first dedicated demonstration, training and research facility of its kind in Australia. The Campus will be celebrating 125 years of horticultural education in 2016.
