Ramm Botanicals has long been associated with innovative breeding and development of ornamental native plants. We principally look for three attributes in our new release varieties, namely drought tolerance, low maintenance and colourful flowers or foliage.

Our famous Bush Gems brand of kangaroo paws now include a ‘Landscapers’ series which include long lived plants bred specifically for commercial applications. The varieties boast high disease tolerance, clean, vibrant flower colours and strong stems that don’t droop under full flower load.

Look out for our Dam Savers brand as well. Varieties marketed under this mark are tough, drought tolerant, no nonsense plants that are designed with the landscape sector in mind.

In recent years, we have been testing biodegradable pots made from coconut fibre and we’ve now launched them in Australia. Marketed as Pot’n All®, these pots and tubes can be planted direct into the ground without needing to remove the pot, which means there’s no plastic to dispose of. Pot’n All® makes planting faster and easier too and there’s no transplant shock or root disturbance because the plant stays in the pot.
