Holmesglen is one of Victoria’s largest providers of vocational and higher education. Since 1982 Holmesglen has grown from 90 programs and 7,000 students, to the current offering of over 600 programs to more than 50,000 students, and will continue to expand course offerings in 2011.

We offer an extensive range of programs, through a variety of teaching modes and enhanced by relationships with other educational institutions and key industries.

Holmesglen’s horticulture department is situated in a new purpose built building with custom designed practical rooms at the Waverley campus. Our trainers are professionally qualified with industry work experience in parks and gardens, landscaping, garden design and nursery.

Courses include a strong practical focus for hands on learning with community projects and workplace programs ensuring that students get their hands dirty and are well prepared to enter the workforce as a professional by graduation.

Programs start throughout the year and options are available for businesses wishing to train their staff onsite.
