About AILDM

AILDM is an association of qualified landscape design and management professionals who have a sound knowledge of landscape design principles, professional ethics, plants and environmental management. Formed in 1994, AILDM has grown into a strong national organisation, with members in all states and major cities as well as many regional centres.

AILDM designers have design training so they can work with you to make the best use of your land, creating beautiful and practical spaces for all your needs. They have completed comprehensive studies in site surveying and levels; soil structure, profiles and chemistry and they have extensive plant knowledge. They always take into consideration the impact any new landscape will have on the environment.

When you choose an AILDM landscape designer, you know you will have a landscape professional who will take the time and have the skills to make a garden that is uniquely yours and a garden that is specifically tailor-made for your needs, your site and your lifestyle.

When you join AILDM as a landscape professional or student, you know you will have access to advice and mentoring from fellow members, business and technical skills development as well as marketing and special membership benefits such as insurance, sample contracts and receive AILDM’s quarterly journal – “Landscape Outlook”.
