...with her wonderful restaurants over the past 35 years and her Cook’s Companion which has sold over 500,000 copies, Stepahnie Alexander is an Australian icon.

However, her greatest challenge has been to introduce children to the joys of growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing fresh, seasonal produce through her Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation.  

The Foundation is already a huge success and last year it celebrated Kitchen Garden Week, hosted its first conference, announced another 22 ‘Go for your life’ schools and commenced a national program.
